The Trillium isn’t far behind the Skunk Cabbage in blooming in the Spring, but it has a lot more appeal. It pops up just as the False Lilly of the Valley leaves start to show through the duff. The flower starts out white and then changes to purple as it ages. Look for them in the shady understory.
